James “Jimmy” Baxter is mob boss of New Orleans and most powerful gangster in state. He leads Baxter Crime Family. It was previously known as Conti Crime Family, when Carmine Conti was leading it and making it big. Baxter married Conti's daughter, Gina and took over.

At the age of nine, Jimmy started working to support his mother and his younger brothers and sisters. He later married a woman named Gina and had three kids with her named Carlo, Fia and Rocco.
